“Bring your attention to any area in your body where you feel some uncomfortable sensation. This sensation may show up as contraction, pain or simply a feeling. Begin breathing space into the center of that sensation. That’s right. As if you were introducing a balloon and slowly blowing it up. Keep breathing space into the balloon and slowly expand the center of that area. Expand it beyond your body, beyond the room you are in, beyond the building and beyond the town. Keep going until you feel a sense of space and that original sensation dissipates.”
